However, he is one of the big names in the gold mining industry today.
Lindsay Hall is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Goldcorp Inc. He has been serving the company on the post since April 2006. The man is a reputed chartered accountant with wide experience in senior financial positions. Formerly he has been associated with Duke Energy corporation and Westcoast Energy.
Steve Reid is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Goldcorp Inc. The man has profound knowledge in the field of mining. With over 30 years of experience behind him there are few that can challenge his know how. He has experience in both operating as well as business aspects of the mining industry. Before coming to Goldcorp he was with Placer Dome where he was the Country Manager for the Canadian operations. He has worked in various positions in the mining industry and at various locations around the globe.
Tim Miller is the Vice President of Central and South America businesses of Goldcorp. He has a bachelors in Chemistry and a MBA from Webster university. He has worked with Gold Fields in North America. He has also spent many years in the gold mines of West Africa. In the year of 200 he joined Glamis gold and was instrumental force behind the successful construction of Marlin mines in Gautemala. After the merger, he has been with the Goldcorp.
George R. Burns is the Vice President of Canada and United States businesses of the Goldcorp. With almost 30 years of experience with him he is one of the most respected persons in the gold mining or let us say the whole metal mining industry today. He has also served Cyprus Minerals Corporation and Centerra Gold Inc.
